HOW WE HELP
Specialist Care.
Delivered with Diligence and Respect.
The medical system is exceptional at treating disease. But treating disease and caring for a person are not the same thing. At PalCare, we have built our practice around the conviction that both are necessary — and that the second is too often neglected in the standard model of care.
We believe that every person, regardless of their diagnosis or prognosis, deserves to be treated as a full human being — with a history, relationships, beliefs, and a voice that matters in decisions about their own care.

What Palliative Care Actually Involves
Palliative care is specialised medical care focused on providing relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness. Our team works alongside your existing medical team to provide an additional layer of support — one focused entirely on your comfort, your dignity, and your choices.
Palliative care is not about stopping treatment. It can be provided at any age, at any stage of illness, and alongside curative treatments. Many patients receive palliative care for months or years before the end of life.
In practice, our work includes: symptom management (pain, breathlessness, nausea, fatigue, and others), advance care planning, coordination with your other medical providers, family support and education, and — when the time comes — end-of-life care and bereavement support.
